To be in accordance with the law, and not be accused of spamming, there are a few things you need to do:

1. 2. The topic line on your email must be correct and relate to the content of your email. 3. 5. You can’t have a false header on your email.

6. You have to supply a clear, and free, link for the recipient to ‘un-scubscribe’ and if they click on that link they should straight away be removed from your email list and you shouldn’t send them another e-mail. Having an ‘opt-in’ list is perhaps your very best protection against being accused of spam. This technique will inspire your internet site visitor to enroll to get your emails. They are giving you permission to send them e-mails. In order to make them sign on to your list you can offer them an inducement such as a free report or a multi part mini-course that they will receive over a period of a week or so. These are the fundamentals of the law. I am not an expert or a counsel so make sure you take a little time and learn all of the ins and outs of the CAN SPAM law so you can confirm your company is in compliance. Do not let the new laws scare you off from using mass e-mail selling since it could be a very effective selling tool for your business.

If you take the time to discover what all the regulations are and then you follow them, you will be in compliance and you’ll be able to add a lot of purchasers to your business which may ultimately lead to a load more sales, and that is what we all need.
